About the Role

Ontik Technology is hiring a Senior BI Developer to lead the design and development of enterprise-grade dashboards, data models, and reporting solutions for a US-based client. In this role, you will take ownership of complex BI workstreams, establish development standards, and play a key part in shaping the overall quality and consistency of the team's output. You will also mentor junior developers and act as a technical escalation point within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end development of complex dashboards and data models that meet business requirements.

• Translate stakeholder requirements into scalable, well-structured BI assets.

• Establish and document development standards, naming conventions, and best practices for the BI team.

• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive technical guidance to junior team members.

• Collaborate with the Analytics Lead and Data Engineers to ensure data availability and model accuracy.

• Identify performance bottlenecks in existing reports and implement optimization strategies.

• Support user acceptance testing and resolve data or visualization discrepancies.

• Proactively communicate progress, risks, and technical decisions to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in BI development with a strong portfolio of delivered solutions.

• Advanced proficiency in Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent BI platforms.

• Strong command of DAX, SQL, and semantic data modeling.

• Experience working with large datasets and optimizing report performance.

• Proven ability to mentor or guide junior developers in a professional setting.

• Excellent English communication skills, with confidence presenting to business stakeholders.

• Familiarity with version control practices and deployment workflows for BI assets.

• Experience integrating BI solutions with cloud data platforms is a strong advantage.

Contract Details

Working Timezone: USA

Salary Range: BDT 150,000 to 200,000 per month

Language Requirement: English fluency required
