The Opportunity

Hybr is seeking an experienced Senior QA Engineer to own and elevate product quality across the full development lifecycle. This is a senior-level, high-impact role responsible for setting QA strategy, building scalable testing frameworks, and mentoring quality practices across engineering. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in both manual and automated testing, a systems-thinking mindset, and a strong track record of raising quality bars in fast-paced, AI-powered SaaS environments.

What You'll Own

Own QA activities across all features and release cycles, ensuring nothing ships with bugs or a subpar user experience
Design, build, and maintain structured test plans, test cases, and regression testing procedures
Test both frontend and backend systems with precision, managing high volumes of changes
Evaluate features not just for functionality, but for usability — flagging where something works technically but feels unintuitive to real users
Identify, document, and communicate bugs, usability issues, and quality risks clearly and effectively to engineering and product teams
Audit existing QA processes and implement improvements to increase efficiency, coverage, and reliability
Introduce or expand QA automation tooling to reduce manual effort and increase release confidence
Create clear QA documentation and testing standards to support future scalability
Define and own QA strategy and quality metrics across the product organisation
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and own deployment quality gates
Act as a trusted quality advocate with a seat at the product and engineering table

You Might Be Right If

You have 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Software Testing, or a similar role within a SaaS or technology environment
You have experience testing web applications across both frontend and backend systems
You are comfortable in a fast-paced startup environment with frequent releases and evolving priorities
You have experience creating test plans, test cases, regression testing processes, and QA documentation
You are highly organised and capable of managing multiple projects and testing priorities simultaneously
You enjoy solving problems, identifying root causes, and driving continuous improvement
You thrive with autonomy and require minimal supervision to deliver high-quality results
You bring a customer-first mindset and a passion for reliable, intuitive, bug-free products
You have led or significantly influenced QA processes, automation strategies, or quality culture at a team or company level
You have a strong grasp of API design, microservices, and how backend architecture decisions affect testability

Your First 90 Days

Take ownership of QA activities for all assigned features and releases immediately
Establish and maintain structured test plans, test cases, and regression testing procedures
Audit existing QA processes and recommend concrete improvements to increase efficiency, coverage, and reliability
Collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle
Create clear QA documentation and testing standards to support future scalability
Demonstrate the ability to independently manage testing priorities in a fast-paced environment
Become a trusted advocate for the end user by proactively identifying functionality, usability, and experience issues before release
Present a QA improvement roadmap with short and long-term recommendations by Day 60
Establish or enhance automation coverage for critical flows by Day 90

Compensation & Details

Salary: BDT 200,000 per month
